The site design is comprised of a 1500 unit residential complex surrounding a 1.3 acre open space. This park-like space is subdivided into a series of smaller plazas and open greens, all linked by promenades and pathways lined with canopy trees, plantings and seating. These landscape rooms vary in scale and accommodate both large events and small gatherings.The adjacent area is populated by an existing mixed residential community, regional shopping centre and an area hospital. The new landscape will serve as a park, allowing for various recreational activities, social gatherings and programmed events, while offering a place for relaxation and reflection of seasonal change.
