Quinn Design Associates was retained to lead an ecologically-sensitive, low-density residential submission at the headwaters of the Credit River. Credit Springs is surrounded by an Environmentally Sensitive Area and a Provincially Significant Wetland. QUINN has guided the development through the approval process via efficient environmental planning and effective negotiation with the Conservation Authority. Innovative environment-enhancing measures were also instituted to perform cost-saving measures: preservation of existing plants, naturalization of lots, buffer planting, transplanting existing plants, and seed banking and sod-matting the storm water management facility. QUINN created marketing media for the new housing community as well as a graphic informational booklet for new homeowners.
