This design study provides guidance on future improvements to the public right of way for the proposed Main Danforth BIA. Objectives include unifying the area and creating an identity to highlight gateways and establish a rhythm of pedestrian scaled amenities. Other intentions including changing lighting, adding street trees, diminishing the dominance of vehicular traffic, optimizing on-street parking, and unifying ground surface treatments.
