Point Edward, Ontario
The Point Edward Charity Casino is situated on the banks of the St. Clair river and the landscape design reflects the heritage of this site. Historically, Point Edward was a major Grand Trunk Railway Terminal and port for the wooden Great Lakes cruise boats. The nautical theme is expressed throughout the building as well as on the site. A submarine-like aluminum exterior represents a wave, while the indoor saltwater aquarium, glass bridge, and replica of a ship's hull continue the underwater fantasy motif. Our scope of work included master planning, detailed design, construction documents and contract administration.
