Quinn Design Associates was involved in the design of a roof top garden and landscape for an Aboriginal transitional housing complex.The design uses native plants and hardscape materials to create a landscape of both public and private spaces that register the seasons. Additionally, native grass planting on the ground surface and on the rooftop reduce the amount of storm water run-off. The project includes two main plaza spaces, one adjacent to the hall of worship and the other sited with a playground area.
